Volunteers

‘At SODA (Survivors Of Domestic Abuse) we have a 24hr helpline which is operated by volunteers who have or are experiencing Domestic Abuse in their lives or someone they know. SODA supports anyone who has or is suffering Domestic Abuse regardless of age, gender, sex, colour or religion.

SODA provide immediate and on-going training on all aspects of Domestic Abuse.

Volunteers are required to help our Charity – Fundraising, Promotions, organisation and development, administration, Presentations

What commitment is required as a volunteer?
All we ask for is a regular commitment. This may be anything from only 1 hour or more per week in helping us to deliver our service.

What expenses will be paid for?

We will reimburse all volunteers out-of-pocket expenses.

Where does the training take place?

The training will take place at our offices or at other training venues determined by the Training providers.
